Registration for the 2025 season has begun!

For 20 years, Cornerstone Church of Aurora has been proud to host Upward Basketball, offering kids and families in our community a fun, safe, and Christ-centered basketball experience.

Our league is about more than just basketball—it’s about building skills, forming friendships, and sharing the hope of the Gospel through sports.

Who Can Play

• Boys and girls ages 4 through 3rd grade

Registration

• $100 if registered by November 2

• $110 after November 2

• Includes:

  • Reversible Upward jersey

  • Practice cards

  • Recognition stars & poster

  • End-of-season award/gift

Player Evaluations

Each player must attend one evaluation at Cornerstone Church of Aurora. You may arrive anytime during the scheduled window.

• Evaluation 1: Tuesday, November 11 · 6:00–7:30 PM

• Evaluation 2: Saturday, November 15 · 10:00 AM–12:00 PM

What to bring:

• Athletic clothing and gym shoes

• A water bottle (optional)

• Players will complete short skill drills to help us form balanced teams

Season Schedule

• First Practices: Week of January 5
  (one, 1-hour weeknight practice per week, Mon–Fri)

• First Games: Saturday, January 17

• No Games: Saturday, February 14 (bye week)

• Last Game: Saturday, March 14

• Celebration: End-of-season team parties immediately following final games

Games are 1 hour in length and held Saturday mornings or early afternoons.

Parent Involvement

Our league depends on volunteers! Parents are encouraged to serve as coaches and referees—no experience required, training provided. It’s a great way to invest in kids and families through sports. Interested? Complete a volunteer application here.
